Neurofeedback News:

What is a Brain Map?

The brain map is an important tool we use to read your brainwaves and identify the problem areas of the brain.

Your brain is a highly complex organ made up of billions of cells called neurons. Neurons send and receive messages to and from all parts of your body. These messages are electrical impulses that create brain waves. The brain map is an important tool we use to evaluate your brainwaves and identify opportunities to improve communication between various regions of the brain.

How does a Brain Map work?

A Brain Map is a test that records the electrical impulses in your brain through metal discs placed on your scalp. You have heard of this method before, known as an electroencephalogram or EEG. The test results show brain wave patterns in different parts of your brain and if the patterns are normal or abnormal. A Brain Map is a safe, easy, and painless test.

You simply relax for six minutes while the computer analyzes the information collected by the discs to create a complete data map of your brain. Normally, results are available within 24 hours.

Sessions are usually 30 minutes, and involve watching a movie while wearing special photic glasses. These glasses emit light to stimulate your brain while software connected to the video and audio signals “retrains” your brain to correct and restore neural pathways.

A report is generated containing detailed analysis of your brain (see below). The report also issues a protocol for treatment options. This will include photic sessions, as well as suggested nutraceutical supplements.

After 10-20 sessions, we evaluate your progress by performing another brain map. We can then determine what areas have been corrected (see below). If necessary, more sessions are suggested.

First, with the bezel marker set to 12 o'clock, change the GMT replica watches uk to point to the current Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) replica watches uk which is the same as the timezone in London. Change the hour hands and set it to the current timezone. With the Rolex GMT-Master II this is done easily as the minutes move with the GMT hand when the crown (unscrewed) is pulled two positions and the hours hand moves by itself when the crown is in the first position. That way, the GMT replica watches uk hand will indicate the current GMT reference time and using the bezel, one can move forward or backward to match the difference between GMT replica watches and the timezone you want to know. So in the pictures in this post, my Rolex GMT-Master II shows the time in US PDT and the GMT replica watches uk hand shows US EST which is -5 hours from GMT (or -4 hours as in now for daylight savings time).
